By accessing and using ASCII Generator at asciigenerator.com ("the Site", "the Tool"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Use of the service

ASCII Generator is a free, browser-based tool. You may use it for personal, commercial, creative, and educational purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload or process images or text that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
• Upload or process content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or circumvent the normal operation of the Site
• Scrape or systematically download content from the Site in a way that imposes an unreasonable load

3. Your content

All images you upload and text you type are processed locally in your browser. We do not store, access, or claim any rights to your content. Any ASCII art you generate using this tool is yours — you own it and may use it freely for any purpose, including commercial use, without attribution.

4. Intellectual property

The source code, design, layout, and written content of ASCII Generator are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The figlet fonts bundled with the tool are open-source and distributed under their respective licenses (primarily the FigFont license and MIT). You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the Site's own code or design without explicit written permission.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

ASCII Generator is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Site is at your sole risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ASCII Generator and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed $0, reflecting the fact that the service is provided free of charge.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice. Because the tool is client-side and requires no account, termination in practice means taking the Site offline, which we would only do under exceptional circumstances.
